You can use a 1/2" - 1" diameter card board tube glued for and aft, or JTEC clamploks... The clamploks will be a pain, but if you put them on the servo wires before gluing you might get two or three on the wires if you use on large enough to hold both wires...

Thanks..I was actually talking about how to get them into the fuse..I did finally find the cutouts to run the wires into! DUH!

Well it's time to make the trip across the north pole to the land of ARFs once again. My father and I are leaving early Sunday morning for China. We will be over there for 2 weeks. We will try to light a fire under our manufacturer concerning the 87" Yaks. We are also scheduled to visit 4 other factories. I hope to return home on the 24th with some good news.
As Torqued-Up mentioned, we are in the process of starting our own factory in Malaysia. As you can imagine this is quite an undertaking and will require me to spend a lot of time in Malaysia over the next several months. But I believe this is the only way to accomplish what I set out to do in the first place: Provide the best performing, highest quality, ARF aerobatic aircraft available.
There will be no one in our offices during the 2 weeks we are in China. For this I apologize. However my father will man the helm during my exteneded stay in Malaysia. Please bear with us as we gear up to provide you, our valued customers, with an unlimited supply of the best ARF aircraft available.

I got carbon fiber gear for the 87" yak if interested. They measure 21.5 wide and 9.5 tall the holes are drilled for the axles and they will cost $69.95 each. Not sure on the weight as I do not have a scale, but they feel as light as the stock gear for sure. I am putting a set on mine as i wiped out my original gear on a flameout.

When installing the RX, did you guys just velcro or tie wrap it to the balsa pipe tunnel? Is it necessary to reinforce anything there?

Same here... Framed up a small trays for the Rx and batteries... Left room in the framing for velcro straps to slide under the trays, then glued the trays to the pipe tunnel...

Ok sounds good..I was going to glue the tray to the tunnel then cut into it and pull the strap thru the other side..I like your idea better..how did you get clearance for the straps? spacers??

On the bottom of two apposing sides I used 3/8" balsa strips to support the tray... On the other two sides I used 1/4" balsa strips... When glued down, that leaves some space between the tray and the pipe tunnel... Perfect clearance for the velcro straps...

Has anyone had the wing tube stops come out of their tube sockets in their wings ? I just noticed that the one in the right wing panel is broken into pieces and the one in the left panel fell out when I stood the wing up with the root end down. I am trying to think of a way to repair this without cutting the covering . The stop is a plywood "washer" that is suppose to be glued to the end of the socket to prevent the wing tube from going too far into the wing. I am thinking about adding an aluminum "washer " so that the wing tube can not cut into the original wood stop as part of this repair. Any other ideas or suggestions ?

Since my stab tube is not exactly in line with my wing tube I was going to "untwist" my fuse using Bodyworks technique. However, after blocking it all up I am thinking that I will leave it alone... I blocked the fuse up and used the meter part of my Robart incidence meters rubber banded to the wing and stab tube to measure vertical. After blocking the wing tube vertical I slide the stab tube and meter into the stab hole and it's off my less than 1/4 bubble... The wing tube incidence meter reads 0 degrees and the stab tube meter reads a little less than 1 degree. If no one thinks this technique for checking alignment of the wing and stab tubes is broken I think I'll leave it alone...

Is anybody else having this problem, when I click on the what is supposed to be the last page of this thread is says it is no longer available or has been moved. But, if I click on the page about two pages before the last page it goes to that page and then I have to click next page to get to what really is the last page. Anybody know what is going on here???
