For example, the 130 right cam fits the 72, clicking on the 130 right cam will show a list what else it fits.

The Saito code for the 2 is RR, at Horizon

Check out the Higley prop nuts at the Sullivan site. They also make starter cups to fit.

Camera angle, it still doesn't look like plain aluminum, has a darker tint to it. Even the brass/bronze crankcase nipple is dark, and the T nuts too, but the ignition is bright. Weird, really weird.

I recently purchased a FA300T version 1. Always wanted to try a multi cylinder plane. Anything I should know about these?

Same two parts, same light, different backdrop. Cardboard vs brass sheet. The socket is chrome, the muffler is matte blasted aluminum.

if you bought the lager 100cc Twin you could put it in a Minibike and run it around the field between flights. wouldn't that be fun! LOL

well guys. it came time to buy my new Drawer type Tool Box. ant never had one. and I just never may have one. as some of you know I have been looking for about 6 months. so I decided not to buy a Rolling box. and buy one to put on the shelf under my bench cause it would be out of the way so I would never have to move it. well, I have look at 86,000 boxes and I can say it ant easy finding what you need LOL. most drawer boxes have a flip top well, and I can't use that under my bench, cause the flip top. and, the ones without a flip top have only 3 draws, I would like 5 drawers even 6. drawers,
well I have to say found a couple but they are $1500, $2000 or $2500,,,, ouch.

LOL BTW, as for the rolling box I was going to buy, it's price has jumped twice in this 6 months, it is now $100 more.

Thanks for the links to Saito .72 parts guys. Of course the carb pipe O rings are out of stock everywhere. I wonder if sizes are listed anywhere?
When I had my carb off to clean and inspect it thought that Saito had an interesting design with what looks like a cut or slice or crack in the fuel feed pipe. Soooo, is this normal? It certainly looks like it was cut that way on purpose. See picture.

It's normal on the 72 and many other Saitos. The slit in the spraybar is affectionately called a "cat eye" and is used to meter fuel delivery. The low speed needle, located in the throttle barrel, slides in and out over the cat eye as the throttle is moved. Reassemble the carb and observe it's function while rotating the throttle arm. BTW, your spraybar is installed correctly, with the cat eye facing the outlet side of the carb.

The intake tube gaskets are found in both of these gaskets kits:
SAI8091B - Carburetor Gasket Set (out of stock)
SAI72B32A - Engine Gasket Set (in stock at Horizon Hobby)

Have you tried a new glow plug?

I went to paint the tips of this 13 x 6 3 blade prop and my 6 year old Granddaughter says. Grandad, I have a better idea. Gold metal flake finger nail polish. It lives on my Saito 62. My intention was white tips.

Thanks.

Gary, I have an original full set of SK Wayne 1/4" sockets, ratchet, breaker bar and extensions from about 1960. They're in the original dark green, crinkle finished box.

The 4-20 is mostly together, I'll be joining the wing in few minutes. It will be Saito 30 powered. Of course.
The fuel line you see in the background is Sullivan ProFlex, it's good for all fuels and smoke oil, it's something new I'm trying..

Tool boxes are not cheap in price, but some are cheaply made. I watched reviews between Snap On, Husky and US General, the harbor Freight brand, and the US General came out on top. The steel is heavier gauge like Snap on, the drawer slides are like Snap On, but unlike Snap On, each drawer has a locking lever. The Husky was thinner metal, and instead of locks, it uses self closing rollers. The US General also comes in different colors. Since my Laser cabinet is yellow I went with a yellow one. This is the one I have, https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-s...low-56112.html, and it has a larger surface to work on. Eventually I will put a wood top on it to mount a vise and such, but I have yet to fill all the drawers.

Another idea I had for my workshop, I have a 50 x 72 double layer particle board top work bench on 2x6 supports and 4x4 legs. I considered getting some RTA cabinets to put under it and remove the legs to make it one big rolling cabinet workbench.

I want a box like the one in my link below. but with 6 drawers. it will fit right under my bench at my work area.

as for HF;
I almost bought a US Genral. but the women said I could not get the 10% discount on my UN-used HF C-card because I did not get the card threw that store. so I cut it up in front of her because she said if I cut it up she could get me another card and that "I could use it "that same day" to buy the box I wanted... well,,, she could not get me a new card for that same day. and 2 days later the sale ended. and to add, 6 months earlier they pretty much did the same thing to me in a different HF store 55 miles away. told me I could not get the 10% discount because the box was on a "Track Sale". well both times I called HF and they told me all what the stores said to me was 100% not true! . so I won't buy from HF.
you see, I figure the stores do not want people to buy higher priced items on sale AND also get the 10% off by using a NEW, never used HF C-card.

no flip top wanted.

Geez Jim. Wish I had one or two little darlins to help me with decorating. Doing it's toe nails in glitter would be great too!

Default Timesert?

My 200TI glow plug thread repair did not go as planned. The hole had been previously repaired with a Timesert, or so I thought, but the Timesert 1/4-32 glow plug inserts I bought are too small in OD. The OD of the broken threads I removed from the hole are .312 OD, the Timeserts I purchased are .286 OD.

Timesert does make an insert called a "Bigsert" however they are not available online for 1/4-32. Not listed on the Timesert webpage either.

Is there another brand of insert that looks like, and locks in place just like a Timesert?
