It may not be. I was just testing things again and discovered with the aircraft system powered up but the transmitter not on the servos are not jittering at all. Once the transmitter is turned on the jittering starts. I tried changing from 22ms timing to 11ms timing but that didn't help. I have the rx connected to the SF16 via the SRXL port. I do have an SRXL2 rx I could try and see if that helps. Not sure what else I could check or change on the transmitter. The transmitter should be up to date as far as software goes. Not sure about the rx though when it was updated.

I'll do some more testing tomorrow. I'll unplug the tail servos from the Smooth Flite 16 and plug a couple servos directly into it without extensions and see if that helps. If it does I assume that means the extensions are causing the issue. I have a several ferrite rings I can try and see if that has any effect, if not I'll order some twisted cable and make up some new extensions with to see if it resolves it.
Thanks guys for the replies, and thanks to anyone that has any other input on this.

Couple of things
I use 737's in the tail (well the whole plane really) with no issue on Lipo voltage with home made extensions. As Bob mentioned, they are Powerbox Maxi wire but other than the normal whine you get from digital servos there's no jitter.
Twisted wire works great for cross talk in communication and network cable pairs, for RC, eh.....lets just say the effect of twisted wires is more aesthetic than technical

The weird thing about Powerbox wire is its size. Its 0.35mm^2 which is in between 21 & 22 AWG and is not a standard metric wire size. So ,stripping it is difficult because there are no strippers of the matching size. I would cut some of the copper using a 22AWG stripper. I finally bought an Knipex adjustable stripper and seem to have the best results.
Regular wire, in standard sizes with PVC insulation is easier to get good results with and costs less but is slightly heavier.

I've been having some success with the Knipex 11-82-130 stripper:

I've had no success with a stripper named Yolanda...

I use Maxi on everything, we have been under spec on the wire for years, servos have gone up in torque and current draw, yet we have not updated the connectors or wire.
My Hot is run fully in Maxi

The connectors Hanson and Powerbox sell are cheap imitations of Mini-PV 0.10" connectors made by Amphol (Dupont). They work fine but are not as reliable as the Mini-PVs.
If you want to learn more I recommend Matts Tech Pages:
DuPont and ?DuPont? connectors, and how to crimp them properly ? Matt's Tech Pages
In any case, the IWISS crimper is way better than the crimper sold by Hanson and others. Best $25 tool out there.

If anyone is in need of a CMjets fuel tank for their rebel let me know. Have a brand new one I (foolishly) bought thinking the ARF+ factory one was easily removable. Asking $150 shipped fedex 2 day CONUS only. Cost me over $200 and took a month to get to me originally.
