Hello Sonnich

Did the Hawk come with landing gear? my hawk was with landing gear, if not do you know a model who fit there?

No landing gear in my kit. Only some 4mm wire struts, which do not fit the springair retracts.

I carbon and glased the wing joint..

I bought the springair second hand, in a bag......but they are new. There is no number other than a patent number stamped into them... so I dont know....
Im not going to use the wire struts as these will not hold up to the grass field opperation at my club.
I have not found the right soultion yet......time will see what I get [8D]

I installed the wings today. I beefed up the wing saddle aread both front and aft.
The wooden dowls where replaced with 7mm brass tubes, with carbon fiber tubes inserted into them.

Who among you has the Hawk with a Wren44 installed and how does it fly? I'm curious with the weight saving the smaller turbine offers, also less fuel weight. Kmp offers an ARF with retracts at 6.25lbs. minus engine and radio gear. Thanks Doug
