Composite-ARF Integral, kinda build thread
#451
Hi Nickolas
I want to try to explain.
In inside a part is divided off for the landig gear etc. This part falls exactly on the chin cowl. Thereby this breaks.
If this inside part has closed (Adhesive tape fastens, nothing can happen.
This should already happen by ARF.
I think also the fuselage is heavy. What I should do. [

Don' t worry about the chin cowl just try to re-inforce it from the inner side. Both of the composite planes I have bought, X-TREME Composite OTOP and CompARF Integral had broken chin cowls...

What kind of wheels fit into those skinny wheel pants?
What size and where can I find them? Are they durable?
Thanks
Colin.

In my case, I was using a pair of 2-1/4" Dave Brown's narrow lite wheels, and it lasts about 30+ flights before needing the wheels replaced. The second set of wheels, instead of going with the same setup, I went with a pair of Bolly carbon wheel pants so standard wheels can be used, and this pair last for 120+ flights already, and that is what I am going to do with the second Integral also.

I don't use wheel pants.
I can never seem to keep them on the plane. I fly on very rough grass runways that tend to tear the wheel pants up and off.
Besides they are extra weight!

I was surprised how well the silver works in the air. I thought the same thing until I flew mine.
Silver worked just fine.

The Word INTEGRAL was made by a friend of mine who cut vinyl
words for advertising.
The type of the word was in the program of his computer for vinyl cutting.
Happy landings

Microsoft "Rage Italic" seems to be close to the original Comp-ARF font (if anyone is interested).

Hi Guy's,
I am just starting to collect all the bits and pieces for my Integral and was wondering what is the best stuff. So would be interested to here all your views on the following.
Best Servos (JR / FUTABA)
Control Horns (I don't like Carf ones)
Control linkages (Clevis, ball links)
Push Rods
Wheel axels / Wheels
Pull Pull material (Steel or Carbon thread)
Electric motor mount options
Canopy / cowl mounting options
Thanks

Hello to all,
The original font pour " Intégral " is President on Corel Draw.
It's Ok on Microsoft too.
Pierre.

Hi,
Tonight I started from the easy stuff...putting some stickers on my plane. Hm they look a bit small, I may have to replace them with bigger ones. What is your opinion? Also please check a potential sticker on the left panel of the plane, what do you think?
Every piece of hardare, electronics, engine etc. has been collected with care and is ready to be installed.
The very, very positive thing is that I started to fancy the colour scheme...
Regards,
Nikos
