RE: MVVS 152

I've got a plane on order that calls for a 150-200cc engine. Was just wondering how the 152 will fair against other engines in that range.

Already have a 45,58,and a 116, so want to stay with...

RE: MVVS 152

My 116 runs well with a 30x10 Menz prop. I would expect the 152 to be in the range of a 34-36" prop.

What engine could we compare the 152 against? How will it fair in a comparison to 180 or...

RE: Electric Osmose Building

For Lipos in a plane I use the Multiplex MPX plugs and sockets. Yes they are a bit heavier than the standard JR plugs but they have three connections per pole and hence give a bit more reliability. ...

RE: Electric Osmose Building

What is the weight of your power system. Switch, regulator cables etc. A couple of pattern guys here in South Africa are now using the Emcotec DPSI mini switches.

They come in either dual or...

RE: CPLR new plane OSMOSE

We had to wait a long time to get our Osmose planes and the reason given was that they had production problems they had to solve. Looks like that the older fuses had a bad surface. All I can say is...

RE: CPLR new plane OSMOSE

Wolfgang what was the production number of your model?

We have numbers above 1940 here in South Africa and the fuse does not look like that. Very smooth.

RE: Osmose

Yup I built one and it flies very well. The instructions could be better and you have to double check the hatch section when you build it, but in general ir goes together quickly and straight.

RE: Osmose

I have stock of the C/F spinners and the Chip Hyde control horns. Don't keep stock of the engine mount as every plane uses a different one, easier from CH.

One other thing that I'm stocking...

RE: Osmose

Not true. There is a Eps 120 manual, well an eps 60/90 manual with an addendum for the 120.

I've had lots of customer for the 120 and many for the kit and they all said. Read the manual from...

RE: CPLR new plane OSMOSE

Walter that is true, but its hard to sell a plane to a pattern guy who has never built a plane like this before if you don't have a manual with some reference points. I know that some of the guys...

RE: CPLR new plane OSMOSE

We, Cerebus, just received our stock of Osmose planes. They look very good. The paint job is fantastic and the plane is big and very light.

One question: Who has got a manual for the plane. I...

RE: KMP/eBay YAK-54 Build and Fly

I've got a MVVS 58 on mine and it hovers at 10-20% throttle. Its sometimes difficult to get it low down because a small blip of the throttle shoots it into the sky.
Overall weight 8kg. MVVS 58...

RE: Ignition cutoff for MVVS 116 with new ignition?

After about 5L of fuel with 30:1 and swinging a 24x10 Menz prop I get about 5800-6000 RPM. And that is with a home made pitts style muffler.

With every flight it gets better and better. I'm...
