RE: Sig Hog Bipe Cowl Photos Please!

why not fab your own cowel from balsa ?
make a back plate, a front plate from 1/8 ply, and fill in w/ 1/4 x 1/2 balsa bars and sand to shape.
both my "hogs" are done that way.

RE: Sig Astro Hog "Engine recomendations

up here @8300 ft in colorado we run 14/8's on our o. s. 91's and our saito's too. try a 14/6 down where u are at. it will give a better "flywheel" effect for your four stroke. just an idea.

RE: Sig Hog Bipe Build

i've used futaba 3004's (one in each lower wing) in my hog since 1999 without any issues. i also use 2-56 push rods out to the ailerons, and as connectors up to the top wing. i do not think 4-40 rods...

RE: Sig Hog Bipe Build

why not ADD 2 rib bays to EACH SIDE of the top wing, change the tail feathers, and turn a hog bipe into a JENNY ?
just might be MY next project, since i have a saito 91 looking for a home.
