Of course you can. When editing a plane, change to "Display Advanced Properties" under "Options". Component strength multipliers become available.

The answer to your question is simple. Look at the dates on those messages. They are about a year old. Most of those bugs have been corrected in the updates.

G3 likes as much video horsepower as you can afford.
I get good performance, but I have a Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition ($$$).

With the right hardware however - it's a cool sim.

To be clear, older G3 versions only adjust the physics to a lower initial setting at installation of G3. After that, you could set it to whatever you want (high) and it stays there. The newer updated...
