...I still need to put some more right thrust in. Either that or I'm way out of balance laterally. What do you think guys: When I pull hard for a wall or something like that, it's straight up perfect. However, when I start to hover it yaws HORRIBLY to the left, I have to keep like 75% right rudder in it to keep the nose pointed heavenward. No bad tendencies on takeoff, roughly laterally balanced before first flight and havent moved anything. Even if it is off a little on the lateral I don't think it would be this bad. Rudder and fuse are straight as an arrow. CG @ 6 1/2".

Gary i agree with you about thes tread..... For me is very dificult to give mi experiences becouse i dont speeck english and a lot of time i have to take a dictionary and translate what do you said.
All the days i read yours opinions, and same time i like to opinion too, but i dont found the words to explain my idea....... Maybe theres an other forum about ucd in spanish, but no, i like thees.
If thes weekend dont rain , i take some pictures for my ucd doing some hover a few meters up or doing a harrier about 1 mt. height (+- 3,5 feet),,,
I´m growing on my stile of flying reading here some picks.
Well,,,, i´m grateful of all the person all the days give presents of information to all the world.

Well, I got to fly today (wind finally came in under 300 knots) I have decided to re-do the U-Can Do because the covering is just sort of saggy. Thinking of following this scheme, what do you think?

Sergio, your doing ok with the english, i understand everything your saying, and thanks for the comments,
were looking forward to your pictures
i never thought of it as talking to the world but i guess we are, HELLO WORLD
Tom, if you can get that scheme on your ucd, i will wend you my next plane whene i buy it and have you do mine, that would look real good[8D]
went out and flew today and at 105deg my saito 100 didnt seem to be overpowering with the 15x4, had to go to my 15x6 to get good hover, its amazing just how much that kind of heat takes away[X(]

Yeah I know what you mean. These things are great. Flaps down this thing is in the air in about 10 feet and I can land it right at my feet not to mention all the inflight stuff....
As for getting a second one it will have to wait as I stepped off the wall and went and ordered me a Chip Hyde Double Vision 3D with a DA50 2 days ago. Man this is going to be great!!!! and the UCANDO I think is a perfect plane to prepare for the all the possibilities of the Double Vision.

Ha, its catching on...
It also comes in handy to tranlsate pages when you find a foreign page doing a web search. The trick sometimes is figuring out what language the site is in.
What about the UCANDO EP. I thought about getting one of those to fly at lunch at a park near work. You get that and you would have all 4.

Hey Guys,
SPUDs two cents: If a guy is joining the thread for the first time and starts at the beginning he will grow with the plane as the thread has grown. If he has a question just ask it and these guys will answer it. They are by for the most knowledgable UCDers there is.
Well finally got near an ethrnet connection still out of town, but the UCD will be in the air by monday.
Hey CeeGee nice string of UCDs, & #3 looks great.
Barry, try those others but don't leave the UCD thread, your humor has brought much to the thread.
Well SPUDs off to Sea World with the family, see ya

I wish there were that many planes where I fly. Although sometimes it is nice to know you will get plenty of flight time, it would be nice to see more planes and more points of view at the field.

Yeah, It's kind of a double edged sword. It would be neat to see more UCD's at the field........ then again since I'm usually the only one flying one I get the impression they think I'm a genious at flying it.......[8D]
