Volfy,
I just found out on another thread about tower's mistake! I was mesmerised how "light" it was. I'm probably gonna get a 91 then. I don't know, decisions, decisions

Wolf123, what the heck is a potentiometer?? And how do I reverse its polarity?

My radio can do the most needed mixing, but is not a computer non-computer radio(Futaba 6DA), It has the ability to reverse channels, but I don't know how I could reverse a single servo on a Y-Harness.

on this type of radio you buy a servo reverser
but the edge have the servo disposed that servo 1 is right
and servo 2 is left and i use a y harness

Tower has the 1.08(improperly) posted as 23(or something) oz. It actually about 33(with muffler). Thats a big difference. I think A 91 2-stroke *might* be a better choice given the weight difference. Unless, that is, if you have to add a bunch of weight to the nose anyway, it might not matter.

wolf123, would you suggest the 91fx over the 1.08? The 91 should have more than enough power, shouldn't it?

I just ordered a Futaba 9C radio. I'm still confused how it would be able to reverse a single servo through a Y connection(if I was using two for the elevator, for example). Or, do you put them on different channels and mix them together?

Yes, You should put them on different channels, the same was you do your 2 ailerons. Its nice that way too, because you can adjust each elevator half independently if you want to.

The specs on Towers website says that the 1.08 has more power than the .91. But who knows.... That might be wrong too.

Keep in mind that OS specifically does not recommend a large dia. low pitch prop for the 91FX. They suggest 13x8 and 13x9. IMHO it will be more than powerful enough for normal aerobatic routines. If you plan on flying 3D and swinging a big prop, then maybe other engines would be better suited.

9C is a wonderful radio and is what I have. With this type aircraft, you can easily program for the dual aileron servos simply by enabling the flapperon mix. This way, you can use the subtrim function of each channel to set the position of each aileron half just right, and also dial in the right amount of aileron differential, if required. You don't necessarily need the flapperon function, but enabling it make programming very simple.
