If it was a good day my 427 1.0 would get just over 6 min running at 260, loved that temp. Always made sure I topped off right before the start, like someone said before remove the fuel tank...

I ran the 427 in my 8b for 2 years and never made it longer than 7 min no matter what gear was in it. I didn't try diff pipes maybe that would help, loved the engine but the extra pit stops killed...

you need to get the rtr engine mounts to raise up the engine. They are taller so the roto back plate will fit on the rtr.
