Hi Dennis.
I get these clips ( electrical cable clips ) from a company called RS Components here in the UK.These are a "nylon" type clip, with a adhesive base, come in various sizes to allow for different sizes / amounts of cables that you would want to put together or to keep nice and neat !!!
I always remove the adhesive base ( as eventually,it will come un-stuck !! ),then roughen up the nylon and stick it with a 5min expoxy to where I want it.
I checked out the web,so try this link for the US :
www.alliedelec.com
try putting in these part numbers on their "search" and see what you get..... 911-0167 or 911-0741.Pretty sure these are very similar, have a look at what they stock...........should be what you are looking for.
Hope this helps you............
Cheers....................Nick (UK)

Hi Al.
Thanks for your reply, will be good to see your SW retracts in action...............let me know if you get a control box with the reg built in,may be worth asking Mitch / Ron when you send off for the conversion?
How long did D & L say it would be to get your conversion carried out?.............I assume at a similar price as mine..? ( $350 )

Hi Denis.
Glad the link helped............forgot to mention, these are the sizes ( dimensions are in mm and are the "base size" of the clip )..........
RS Components ( UK Company ) pt #...........2414760 Adhesive base micro wire saddle 7 x 4 mm..................I use this for holding a single servo wire. ( great for holding the Rx wires on Spektrum remotes )
pt #............2414776.............................. ..................7 x 6 mm..................I use this for holding 2 or 3 servo wires.
pt # ...........2414782................................ ................9 x 7.3 mm................I use this for holding lots of servo wires or tubing in place.
pt # ...........2414798................................ ................10.6 x 9.2 mm............As above............................................. ........................

I read in a magazine that this plane doesn't like to be tail heavy. Not even a little bit
This video shows a landing of the TF stagerwing, with a tail heavy cg...
You have to go to the end to see the landing....Many other junk on it....and No sound...
You get the idea....don't fly Rearward CG...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oY4Kk3yg-Pw
Here is one that was modified some....I wish he would have shown the mods on rc universe...
This was all pictures, but gives some good ideas about what to do with the plane...

Look back in the previous posts, a Zenoah 38 has been done. I believe it was mounted inverted without much cutting of the cowl.Look back to page 33 screen name Grassroots has installed one. I have a SW that I planned on using a Zenoah 38 also, now that I have a DLE 30 I may use that instead.

Check out www.jtecrc.com they do not list one for the Zenoah 38? They list them for all the others, but they can fabricate any type of muffler. Just shoot them an e-mail, they will get right back to you, great guys to deal with!

Pictures of my Saito FA 200 R3 installation on my Staggerwing.
Does the Keleo collector ring for the Saito 170 also fit the 200? Or is the collector ring different? I have a Saito 170 with a Keleo ring and I'm looking at the 200 for the S/W, so not having to buy a new ring would be a good thing. Have you flown yours yet with the 200? Also I'm going to contact D&L to convert my gear. Thanks for the pics a few posts back.

Has anyone tried a Saito 300 Twin in the S/W? Be interested to know as I'm thinking of getting one. Does anyone have a quick dimension of the cowl diameter? The Saito 300 twin is 233mm or 9.17 in from rocker to rocker. TIA!

Hi,It's a shame I do not want to cut the fire wall of
My S / W to install the Zenoah 38, there is a company (www.bennttbuilt.com) who
sell the g-38 with a mounting cradle the problem is
that measures 7 inches and the manual indicates that the engine must
measure 6 inches. The cowling is nearly 8 inches
diameter, the radial 7-35 Evolution fit, but
costs $ 1200.00 on saito I have no data,
consider the roto motor 35 fs is a 4-stroke gasoline engine.

Saw a TF Staggerwing fly at the recent IMAA Fly In at Castle AFB in Central California. Watched it fly several times and was very impressed by it's performance, large loops, rolls and screaming fly bys.
Since I have one NIB I tracked the pilot down to see what his power plant was. Surprise...it was a lowly stock Zenoah g-23. It fit completely inside the cowl.
I have G-23 with about 8 gallons through it and it runs like a scalded dog. Guess where it is going?
Never underestimate a Zenoah engine. Sleepers they are!

I Haven,t seen one fly in person but in the mags, the 26cc size engines worked well.
With the current trend of electrics, they would be out placing the power and turning a 21x12 prop
In the plane..... For my planes I have had, the recommended engines seemed minimal for some of the builds.
Perhaps the were coming out heavy and that was the reason.
This is a 1.60 glow plane (translates to 50cc gas) and will use a engine in that class.
I just hope It was the right choice, and that it will work well.
I have yet to start on mine

I didn't photograph it but recall while looking at the added weight inside the cowl mounted above the engine that the G-23 fit completely inside the cowl. Spark plug wire may have protruded but didn't notice.
Time permitting I will fit my G-23 inside the cowl to see how it fits and advise.

Took a minute to check the fit.
Attached photos show the G-23 centerline about 1" above the cowl centerline, according to the dummy engine in the bottom.
Obviously spark plug and cap will protrude about the same 1". Everything else should stay inside.
