I posted the pics on the other thread....... Will post them again, and thry to get better ones.. These are blurry. Revver brethren, post up pics of ur planes ! ... Thats the one.. It is ok I guess. I almost bought the cermark f 16.. But I always like uncommon plane, plus got dealers cost on it so I cant lose I guess.. Some of the parts are chessy.. Like the tail cone...lol.. Its a joke.. The wood looks of good quality though.. And the vcote 3ds looks really cool. The panel lines have holes popped into them that pop out like 3d.. They also clear coated or painted the covering.. The cockpit looks cool. There are a few runs on one of the flaps and a dead BUG imprinted into it that died into the paint... LOL!! Some of the the stuff is just way cheesy. the rocket pods are a joke..The harware for all the linkages includes metal arms and looks high quality.. Just use locktight!!the left horizontal stab fits lossly and has a gap...However this one looks a million times better than there present line of planes..I still think they need to get real with there quality control and stop using crappy plastic. I Paid dealer cost and paid what I think this kit is worth. I dont see 300 dollars in this plane.. Get the cermark for less. Plus it is much better quality.. But I think the mig is cool.. Who else makes a mig 21 fishbed arf??? This one is really light feeling.. I think it will fly great.. Like I said its the nicest vmar yet.. But they need to get there quality control up to charge the 300.00 price I feel. If you or antone else wants I can do a build thread and flight report.. This one will take no time to build.. All the work is done already!!! Here are the pics of it dry assembled out of the box...

Seejay......I just had a closed septioplasty done and, By God, that's how I felt when I mistakenly itched my nose that night! *LOL* The next few days I just drained until I saw grey stuff coming out...I was told to keep that and come in the next day and get an airhead recharge. Now I feel just fine!

This was way back on page 30 of this thread...but i finally got some video of superman for your interest. Revamped him with an OS 120, unfortunatly on the flight in question it quit and landed quite heavily. The damage to the pod mount is repairable and will do so when I find some time. Anyways, here is a link....hopefully it will work!!

Rev on brothers!!

Is #101 taken yet!? Can I have dibs when we do?
I'm on my second K&B powered Dust, a Jett FIRE 50 Whiplash, a Shrike 10 with a magnum 15 on pipe, numerous warbirds, and even a 1:1 scale superman. No, he does not move as fast as a speeding bullet....fortunatly! The man of steel is really just a man of balsa and foam. lol

Evan, I thought you were moving to Baltimore or some crazy place? Are you ever available for an emergency flight session? I travel thru CLT frequently.

Well, after accepting my new position, which is in Baltimore, and looking at house prices up here,, I talked to my boss and we decided if I can handle it I can live in Charlotte and commute to Baltimore. Transair just started flying out of Charlotte, and has specials for $39 so it works out cheaper for the company and for me. I have a lot of travelling to do but I usually work four long days and am home for a three day weekend each week so I get lots of stick time and time on my motorcycles. So far it's working....

Anytime you have a speed get together let me know and I'll get the group together or if you want to come down let me know, we can get 4-5 fast planes in the air at the same time with notice.

Hi guys. I'm kinda new at the speed planes, but am thoroughly hooked. The first two pics are of my Kavan Projeti. Astro Flight 020 brushless motor, APC 4.75x4.75 prop. About 80 mph in level flight. The second two pics are of a Shrike which I have purchased from Jeremy Ferguson. Just gotta get the bird down here and get it going. Planned engine is a Jett FIRE BSE, although I'm having trouble deciding between the 50 and 60. I'm about finished with a GP Viper. I had intended to power it with a Sport Jett 50, but will probably stick in a Thunder Tiger 40, and use the Jett in something else. Any suggestions on a plane for the Jett 50?

Dave, if no. 133 isn't taken, may I have it ?

Thanks,

Dave Elrod

Thanks ! The Projeti is just a foamie. The Shrike, well, I'll probably fly it a few times when I get it going. If my nerves can handle it anyway.

e-Dave: Welcome to the bro-hood! Jeremy's Shrke is bad a** looking- You are gonna scar it up aren't you?

You want a project for the Jett-50? Patriot, F-20, or a Weston Magnum... I'd say put it on the quickee but it may come apart---

If you can find a Sig Cobra that'd be cool to for the SJ-50

Thanks for the welcome, and the tips. Considering the build quality on the Viper, not to mention the small fuel tank area, I decided against the Jett on the thing. Right now, I'm drooling over the Big Bruce Racing Shotgun. Might could have some fun with the local boys with that one if I painted it up to look like an Ultra Stick.[>:]

Scar up the Shrike ? Hope not, but it WILL fly a few times. With my luck I'll find the only rock on the field with it.[:@]
