Can I use the DA mount template or does the 2mm difference matter?

And regarding qn on original extruded stand offs, I would say not to use them.

I had the same thing with the plug last week. I went from the org. plug to the NGK cm-6 and had the gap at .020.
The plane ran good but it kicked my butt to start it. It was hard to start and i would flood it if i didn`t get it on the first 6 turns while hot. I may try another plug and gap it a tight .018 or .019? Or just put the org. plug back in.

When the motors hot go 3-4 clicks up from idle . Flip it and if it starts cool , if it pops but doesn't start flip it 3-4 more times for kicks and giggles and then repeat cold start .

Does anyone know the Walbro carb number on the DL 50? I can't make out the number on my DL 50. I'm looking for a source for new screen filters. I think it will be easier and less time consuming to replace the screen than trying to clean it.
Thanks,

Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated. I kinda hate to buy the whole kit just for the screen but I guess it wouldn't hurt to do a complete redo.

Hi, New DL-50 owner here! I have a question: What size are the threads on the Hub? I am looking for a Spinner, and can't seem to find the spec's. What Muffler do ya'll like over stock? (looking for Pitt's type) Thanks~Mike

5MMx.8 or they say you can use a 10x32. I've used both. J-tec pitts make very good power. Most pitts mufflers rob a little power. So if you can run the stock muffler I recommend it.

One of my JTec bolts has ended up stripping the thread inside the head, for what reason I am not sure but I have a strong view that it was because I left out the gasket and only used the red silicone, hence the expansion contraction differential had no tolerance in compression when the engine warmed up. What's the best solution to fixing the problem?

My experience with a stripped head was to buy a Heli coil kit. Its not the gasket. Its the red silicon. Red loctite is the only way. Also are your bolts long enough to use all the threads in the head? If not buy longer bolts.

I love the Jtec pitts-the 89.00 dollar one works great for me 7600 Rpm with a Vess 22B.
