RE: modelaero polaris float plane or one similar to it

You could try the float plane forum on here....

I am putting floats on a Sig LT40 ARF that I won at a club raffle. The floats are fibre glass, VERY nicely done, out of Washington State - I bid...

RE: Flip-up Binoculars for Flight Safety

The guy just isnt interested.

KRL, bottom line is this - Everyone thought your idea of bino's for flight safety, was a bad idea. Choice of 1st plane - Bad idea.

RE: Flip-up Binoculars for Flight Safety

Dude,

Bad plan. Many of the guys who posted above me have been instrumental in my success learning to fly. If not for some of their sarcasm, but for the honest answers to mine, and other...

RE: Saito 91 in a pulse xt

You'll be happy with the 4S in your pulse. I have the XT 40, and I put the OS 70 Surpass II in it. I'm swinging a 12-8 prop, and I get great performance. I'd perhaps look at the Saito 100, a little...

RE: Top Flite AT6 ARF

Right on guys, thanks for the info. I might just go ahead and order another cowl for my Spit. I run it pretty rich, but it just seemed too hot. I am hoping to persuade my wife to get me this ARF for...

RE: Top Flite AT6 ARF

Jet22b - I have one of these on my wish list....Isn't going to happen this year, but I like it none the less. My only concern would be the encapsulation of the engine in the cowl. My H9 Spit with the...

RE: Do Women Fly?

Having a little girl of my own, and having been an infantry soldier my whole life (meaning I have been around some pretty rough and tumble guys) I'm excited for the day my little one comes to me and...

RE: Advice on 2nd Plane

I have an Hangar 9 , Pulse XT40 with an OS 70 Surpass II on it. I keep telling guys at the field that had I known how versatile it was when I got into the hobby a couple years ago, I might have...

RE: Pulse 40 Tail shake

I found that the noise mine makes is actually the vibration of the engine, shaking the wheels in the wheel pants....Coupled with the air rushing by the gear, it makes an awesome screaming sound on a...

RE: Hanger 9 Pulse XT ARF

Dude,

If you can, get a Pulse and put your own engine in it. I have an OS 70 Surpass II 4 stroke in mine and it is an amazing flying aircraft. Your own powerplant and radio gives you some...

RE: Have you flown the H9 Pulse XT40?

If I could go back, I would have bought the XT40 INSTEAD of my trainer. I have thw CG Eagle II trainer, and while it's a good plane, once I moved to my Pulse (my 2nd plane), I had done about 20...

RE: Pulse XT40 Wheel Axles

Definitely change out the axels. I'm on my new ones and I'm happier not feeling like I need to inspect the wheel pants every time I land.......And I usually grease it in!

RE: Hangar 9 Pulse 40 XT engine ?

I fly mine with an OS 70 SUrpass II and love it. Everyone at the field loves how it sounds, looks and flies. I have a 12-7 APC prop on it, and I DO get almost unlimited vertical on it.

RE: Hangar 9 Pulse XT 40

I think it might be a little under powered with a 52 4 stroke. I've had great luck with my engine, and one or 2 of the guys at my field are surprised at the power it's pulling.
