RE: electricstar jitters

Sometimes a freshly fully charged transmitter will overload a model when you are very close. Walk away to about 10 feet and try again. Please advise us if this worked for you.

RE: a Wing and a prayer

The Bluebirds may be higher torque or the gears train simply do not move as well and consequently feel stronger.
The HS-55 servos that you are using (I hope this is correct) do not have enough...

RE: Transmitter not sending full throttle

This most likely has to do with the ESC. The ESC might be set to auto calibrationg. This means that it will sense the high and low after powering up. You have to first arm it at low than give it full...

RE: Power setup sanity check

The outrunner will be operating around 35,000 RPM. That seems too high for the motor to handle. Most Outrinners cannot go above 20,000 RPM

Based on an inrunner motror with similar Kv you would...

RE: VT Belle

No, actually the 10 x 4.7 will work fine. This will give you more climb and slower powered flight. We typically use this prop for starters. Most people like it. As yopu get more experience the 10 x 7...

RE: Glitching, as related to speed controllers.

You are having WAY too much glitching even with the esc near the motor. I would suspect that you may have a combination of problems. Each one by itself not enough to give you a red flag but combined...

RE: raidentech cessna 337 25 size

In order for me to give you an educated answer I still need some specs. To do an analysis I will need to have not just the Kv but the idle current (expressed as Io) and the resistance (this is...

RE: New to Electrics

If you are using only 2 cell your esc should have a built in BEC and should work fine in this situation. The Smart BEC is made for 3 cells and up so will not work well with a 2-cell system

RE: What makes e-props different?

e-props are usually thinner and have a somehat undercambered airfoil. They tend to me more efficient. The other reason is the design can be thinner and of different materials because electric props...

RE: going brushless

Sorry! I missed your post!
I would go with either the Hacker 40 or the Phoenix 45. I am partail to the Phoenix 45.
That would be the brushless ESC (speed control)
