gjeffers...You don't have to worry about a thing. Just break your order into 3 orders and order away. I've done that quite a few times. You can even do them just back to back the same day. No problems I've ever seen.
I agree with you. This is the best thread.
Thanks
Barry

Aaahhh, time to wake from the winter hibernation and get back out and fly. Good to see all the familiar names still on the forumn, hope everyone is doing well.
I got to fly the UCD this past weekend and found a great new way to run the wires for ruder and elevator servos through the Fuse.
I got it all back together and just finished covering. I had to use Ultracot True Red so its a little off, but still good enough to fly. I have to stop wrecking the UCD so I have time to get to work on my new Showtime.

looks pretty darn good to me too
so what is the new way to run those wires? are you hinting that its easier to break your plane in half to get to the inside?[X(]i have one in the top of the garage that looks just like that first picture, bbbbuuuuttt the other half dissapeared somewhere over the mojave desert

Looks great Gary.....
sctcrash... Great repair..
Well UCD #2 is born:-).... Well I still have to bolt the engine, and make more cuts on
the cowl... But she balances at 6"... All fits great with my raised engine on my upright
engine mount... I should maiden this coming week.. Still need to break-in the S-82
Tomorrow we have another club fun fly/combat
Here's some pics.... Hey... I'm messy......
If you happen to notice a funny looking yellow bird.... Yep she bit
the dust:-((... I was having a good day a week or so back, even the YS was running
great.. Than this other 3D flying member was flying his F-90 and making H.A. "Low 2'"
K.E.'s And you know I had to try it with my V2 profile.. I made a 4-5' H.A. K.E. stright
down the center of the runway... I was going to land........ But........ I said I can do a
2' H.A. K.E. pass too......... So I come around set up, all's looking great... I'm at about
3' just before the start of the runway, so I drop her down a bit more, And just than the
wind blew "what I thought" the top wing towards me, so I was going to pull out ( yes I
chickened out) So I throttle up and push the elevator
(((( Well the top of the wing was
actually blown away from me.... Hence mother earth came up fast
( You play, You Pay..

Yup gjeffers, i figured if i split her in half i could run the wires much easier. Funny thing though, you should make sure you hook up the right wires to the Y harness. I hooked up my rudder so when i move my elevator i got one half elevator, one half rudder. I still wound up having to pull out my wires and re-run them the old fashion way.
I got in 4 flights today. We had a field raking party and the wind kicked up around 11:30 so it was time to go home. The UCD flew great, I think better than it has in some time. The 91 Magnum is really broken in well now and I got in some really good hovers. I need to work on adding some mix on my radio to KE, and I cant get my flat spins flat.
Now I should have set the mixing at the field because I cant remember if I want up elevator or down elevator with right rudder.

Raideron, Hey!! great that you got your second Do almost done. That's good news. It looks sweet. [8D]
I need a new cowl for mine. Anyone have an extra cowl?
Sctcrash, I think you'll love the Kat with the 46 AX. That's what I have and it's one of the most noticed planes at the field. I can do almost anything with it. Very, very fun plane and the 46 is perfect for it. [8D]

I got my 46UCD to harrier, using tri-stock on leading edge and extra spoileron throw mentioned in earlier post but I still prefer the 60 size. The 46 is way too sensitive to wind for 3-D,especially the harrier. I only keep it around as a backup plane. I'd go for the Giant Do but I,m still working on the Ultra-RC Giles w/Brison 2.4. Its all fun though I never allow iron frying pans in the kitchen, just the light aluminum ones!(no rolling pins either)

had a bad day
i flew my showtime. On my UCD the frist flight i crasher because of the rec. But this one was successful. usuallyi an very nervious on the first 2 flights but i was fine this time .it is a solid flyer.right on th CG it only, only needed 1 pu and 3 left for the trim. flys real nice very smooth.

the engine only had 30 oz of fuel through it and idled fine than i took it up and it is still lean so it was not running like a broke-in engine does.
landed like a dream. on the 2nd flight my friend and i worked on KE mixing and no roll coulping just pitch
on the 3rd filght afthr i took off...the servo horn screw unscrew and the horn poped off it stalled at 75ft and spiraled to its death or what i though(when i knew i could not save it i turned my back)the frount of the fuse was damaged but i can fix it. nothing esle but 1 sfg was destroyed [:@][:@]
my dad said to rob his fuse and a sfg form his which is new in the box
he recored it so i will post a video in the next 3-5 weeks

Looks like I am following in the footsteps of Barry and 38 going from the UCD to the Showtime. It will be a while until I get the Showtime an engine though so I will have to continue to enjoy my UCD and my new Katana.
