I have two Flashs and have trailing link gear on both. Complete Jet1A system on the first and trailing link struts from Dreamworks on the second. Can't beat them for grass strips!

Do these fit onto the BEHOTEC gears?
can you give me part numbers etc? THANKS

for the Behotec i recomend you ugrade the pins to 8mm
the 6mm are to weak , the springs on the jet-1a take care of the safety and "give"when needed.

On my second plane I used the Behotec gear with the Behotec nose gear, already trailing link, and the large set of trailing links from Todd at Dreamworks. # DW-PLLGMAIN
The hole in these are .250 instead of 6mm so you will have to drill out the gear to .250 ! Very easy to do!! You will also have to cut off the axles depending on your wheels! Again, very easy to do. You will have to relieve the landing gear opening in the wing to fit the shape of the new struts. I sprayed some of the expanding foam into the opening and then cut it out so you really can't tell any difference. Depending on how rough your field is you will have to replace the springs from time to time. I have probably 50 flights on my first one and they are just now getting a little weak.

Are any of you Flash owners have any heat issues in fuse above the tailpipe?

Test flown my Flash this weekend didn´t noticed any heat problems with JetCat P-120 and full bypass and Naca cuts.
I´ve flyed it for about 8-9 flights with no fuzz. The only thing that I´ve noticed on almost all instructions no matter what company it is.
The recomended rudder.aileron.elev movement is almost perfect when you take about half of the recomended(if you would like to see the plane in a roll not just hear it).My Flash ended up at about 11 kg .Elevators about 14 mm aileron 12 mm,Flap 50 mm and rudder as much as you get.CG as instructions.
A lovely plane to fly.

I personally try to make the flat spot as small as possible on the pin.But I´m amazed how slow you could fly with full flap and still have perfect response on the rudders

I cannot understand why all these pins do not already have the flats done by the manufacturer(s). I personally would pay twice or even three times the price for properly done pins. Paul.

You can get pins from McMaster Carr here in the US that have flats milled onto them, they are quite nice, they are listed under "dowel pins" and come in SAE and METRIC sizes!

Hi All,
Test flew my Blue Angel Flash last weekend at Tokoroa airfield, Jet 120, full by pass and NACA ducts, BVM cloth over the elevator, no heat problems. header tank gave a few problems, foaming around 3/4 power, changed for another one and that fixed the problem. Watched another Flash fly before my turn there are only two in New Zealand at this time, really hot number, reduced my aileron throw to 15mm , elevator set at 20 mm, Takeoff was drama free , most of the flight was at half power, a bit of right aileron, a couple of clicks up trim, all good, you need all the elevator for landing, flaps set as per the book, half power on the Jet Cat 120 reads 180 km on the radar gun. having some problems with the Jet Tronics retract valve, using a lot air, main leg hanging out, nose leg didn't lock properly, small scape on nose, but really pleased with it. looking forward to more flights. I had a guy that works with the development of the Hawk-Turbine to calculate the outlet duct.If you take the area of the intake and would like full speed of a P-120 the outlet would be around 65mm the only fuzz is that it could be around 250-300 C.So a heat protection is needed!.

(REF Digitech tank problem)
I have the same problem, it leaves a 3rd of a tank full of fuel with or without felt filter I have a wing tank so Iam ok I would not be happy if I only had the fus tank.
Mr flash man you need a round bottom!!
