RE: BIG SCARE.swaring off training gear.

I was using training gear for far too long. One day I was doing a circuit (I had done heaps before) and on decent a huge vibration set in.

RE: JR 500 T - Does yours buzz and twitch??

I use a 550T and 810G on my raptor 30v1. The servo definately doesn't buzz but the gyro sensor makes a horrible squeel, which is normal.

I'd suggest making sure the tail rotor pitch mechanism...

RE: Gain adjustment from JR & Airtronics Transmitters?

I use a Jr 9x and 550T and switch both gain and taillock from the transmitter. Its very easy and the menu function you use is called gyro gain. Doesn't get much simpler.

RE: What Radio to buy?

I have owned 3 JR transmitters. The 388, 3810 and 9x. The 9x is really not that much better than the 3810 (at least for what I use it for).

All great radios. I think if you put the 9x, 9c and...

RE: Throttle Jockey / Raptor 50 / JR 8103 Help

If the throttle channel ever goes below 25% the governor will disable itself. You defeat this in flight mode 1 and 2 but setting all throttle point in the curve to >25%.

In normal flight mode...

RE: PLS HELP! HOW TO CONTROL JR PCM9X THROUGH PC?

Mart O

It's a bit more complex than I suggested, but only because you want to go the other way. You need to know what protocol the sims need and write the software to suit. There are plenty of...

RE: PLS HELP! HOW TO CONTROL JR PCM9X THROUGH PC?

I'd have to ask why but there is a simple solution.

Make a microprocessor adapter that plugs into the computer serial port (or parallel) and the buddy box plug on the radio. Your computer can...

RE: Jr 550T Gyro

The 550T will work with any servo that uses PWM, I use a JR DS810G digital with a 550T. I don't know anything about futaba servos but if this isn't designed as a monster gyro only servo it will work.

RE: Hirobo shuttle plus and TT Raptor

I learned by myself, mostly in the back yard to start with. If you are looking to save crashing get yourself a simulator.

I had the CSM 3 in 1 V9. A bit antiquated by todays standards but I...

RE: Hirobo shuttle plus and TT Raptor

The new Shuttle SWM system is a form of eCCPM using three servos at 90 degrees. A fairly simple system. Most of the high end helicopters these days use 3 servo 120 degree eCCPM, while the Raptor uses...

RE: Gyros on multiple channels?

Technically you could put a gyro on any rotating axis, so rudder and both cyclics could be done. Collective NO because it does not 'rotate'.

Now the question why ??? There is no need and there...

RE: Aussie turbine regulations?

Raptor 30 starter wont engage

Are you sure your turning it the right way????

Anti-clockwise will turn the engine. Clockwise will just spin in the starter clutch. The motor runs anti-clockwise when viewed from the top.
